IMM COLOGNE EXHIBITION | horgenglarus | 2012
Horgenglarus, the Swiss manufacturer of wooden chairs and tables, made an appearance at the international exhibition in Cologne with a stand created by Studio Hannes Wettstein. On a white podium underneath the company’s logo a selection of the classic horgenglarus chairs are presented, perfectly illuminated. The highlight of the stand, a sculpture from solid untreated, bentwood frames, hangs down from the hall roof through the stand’s open ceiling, poetically drawing attention to horgenglarus’ distinctive capabilities in bending solid wood. Beneath the sculpture the newest wooden tables from the company are presented on a white parquet podium.
