CHANDELIER | light installation | The Circle | 2020

A large-format light sculpture hangs in the center of a generous architectural body in “The Circle” at Zurich Airport. The arrangement of twelve elements creates a chandelier, the warm light of which shines through the rooms and onto the visitors. The fine, rhythmic programming of the tapes creates a poetic overall choreography of light, reflection and shadow.

CHANDELIER | light installation | Zauberwald Lenzerheide | 2019

In the magic forest of Lenzerheide, the trees form a majestic backdrop. In the center of a collection of tall spruce trees, glowing ribbons grow from the tops and form a huge light sculpture. The arrangement of twelve elements draws a chandelier whose light shines into the forest and onto the visitors. The fine, rhythmic programming of the ribbons creates a poetic overall choreography of light, shadow and volume.

A SKY FULL OF MUSIC BOXES | exhibition | horgenglarus | 2012

Horgenglarus launched the new wooden chair ‘icon’ and the table ‘savoy’ designed by Studio Hannes Wettstein at Designers’ Saturday 2012. For the setting, individual chair parts are removed from of their functional roles and lyrically repurposed as musical instruments or new food containers. 50 subtly lit chair seats, which have been decorated with chiming mechanisms, are suspended from the wooden ceiling to create the focal point. If the visitor pulls a cord, the instruments combine to create the sound of a great music box. At the centre of the forest of sound the icon chair turns on a pedestal.
