FRANZ KAFKA | exhibition | Strauhof | 2024
On June 3, 1924, Franz Kafka passed away at the age of 40. To mark the 100th anniversary of his death, the exhibition delves into Kafka's work and the enduring fascination his texts evoke to this day. At the heart of the exhibition is the threshold motif of the "door": a pivotal and ambiguous symbol that connects the internal conflicts of Kafka's characters with the inscrutable logic of the power structures in his narratives. The exhibition provides access to various aspects of Kafka's work and its afterlife.
