HAUNTED HOUSE | installation with Container | Hamburg | 2006
A tea party on the threshold of a nightmare – Visitors entered the show through the basement - being led down a corridor flanked by curtains illuminated by candles and one of the light installations. On the ground floor a maze made guests drop to their knees to enter the dark tunnels and explore the shifting dimensions of the parlour, pantry and drawing room. The attic invited visitors to play hide and seek at the stroke of midnight - with only a torch light to guide them, until one found another little door leading to a world of optical illusions and eccentric nightmares.
